2. General information on data processing

As a rule, we process personal data of our users only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functioning website as well as our content and services. Processing generally takes place only with the user’s consent or where a law permits the processing.

3. Provision of the website and log files

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the calling computer. The following data are collected:

  • IP address (anonymised)
  • Date and time of access
  • Page / file requested
  • Browser and operating system used
  • Referrer URL

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in a stable, secure operation of the website).

4. Waitlist (newsletter / email signup)

You can sign up for our waitlist on our website. To do so, we process your email address in order to inform you about the launch and updates regarding TripCart. Signup takes place using a double opt-in procedure: after entering your email address you will receive a confirmation email in which you must confirm your signup.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time, e.g. by email to crew@tripcart.app or via the unsubscribe link in every message.

5. Recipients / processors

We use Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany) as a processor for sending and managing our waitlist. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the provider.

6. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When accessed, technical log data (see section 3) are processed on the provider’s servers. A processing agreement has been concluded with Vercel; data transfer to third countries is safeguarded by EU standard contractual clauses.

7. Cookies

We use only technically necessary cookies (e.g. to store the selected language). These are required for the operation of the website and are permissible on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

You have the right at any time to:
